PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION

Privacy

This Privacy Policy explains how Yoto Electric Vehicle Manufacturing collects, uses, shares and protects personal information received through this website, Facebook and Instagram lead forms, email, WhatsApp and other business communications.

Effective date4 July 2026Privacy contactsupport@ahyoto.com

1. Who is responsible for your information

For inquiries covered by this policy, the responsible business is Yoto Electric Vehicle Manufacturing, Jiangsu, China. Privacy contact: Echo Hof, Key Account Manager, support@ahyoto.com.

2. Information we collect

We may collect your name, company or organisation, job role, country, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, business type, vehicle interests, expected quantity, certification or registration requirements, project details and the content of your communications. We may also receive basic technical and security information such as IP address, browser type, referral page and submission time when necessary to deliver and protect the website.

3. Facebook and Instagram lead forms

When you submit an Instant Form or otherwise respond to our advertising on Facebook or Instagram, Meta provides us with the information you chose to submit. Meta processes information under its own terms and privacy policy. We use the lead information we receive only for the purposes described in this policy. We do not ask you to provide passwords, payment-card details, government identification numbers, health information or other sensitive personal data through an advertising lead form.

4. How we use information

We use personal information to respond to inquiries; identify suitable vehicle models and market configurations; prepare catalogues, quotations and commercial proposals; discuss certification, logistics, distribution and after-sales requirements; manage business relationships; prevent spam, fraud and misuse; maintain records; comply with legal obligations; and, where permitted, send relevant product or company updates.

5. Legal bases

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on steps requested before entering into a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate interests in responding to and managing genuine B2B inquiries, consent for optional direct marketing, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

6. Who may receive information

Information may be accessed by authorised YOTO sales, technical, logistics and management personnel. Where necessary, it may be shared with website and form hosting providers, email and communications providers, Meta when its advertising tools are used, IT and security providers, and selected distributors, service partners, logistics providers or professional advisers needed to respond to your project. We do not sell personal information.

7. International transfers

Because we serve international customers and operate from China, your information may be processed outside your country, including in China and in locations used by our service providers. Where required, we use contractual, organisational and technical safeguards intended to protect transferred information.

8. Retention

We generally retain inquiry and lead information for up to 24 months after the last meaningful business contact, unless a shorter period is requested or a longer period is needed for an active project, contract, warranty, dispute, legal obligation or legitimate record-keeping purpose. Minimal suppression information may be retained to respect an opt-out request.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or a copy of your information; object to certain processing; withdraw consent; and complain to a competent data-protection authority. To exercise a request, email support@ahyoto.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing it.

10. Marketing communications

You can stop optional marketing messages at any time by using an unsubscribe option where available or by emailing support@ahyoto.com. Service messages concerning an inquiry, quotation, order or support case may still be sent when necessary.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so please do not submit confidential technical secrets or sensitive personal data through public forms.

12. Children

Our products and B2B inquiry services are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through advertising or website inquiry forms.

13. Automated decisions

We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about customers solely through automated processing of lead-form information.

14. Website analytics and advertising technology

We use privacy-focused, first-party website analytics to count page views, understand which product pages are viewed, measure active time on product pages, and produce aggregated country or region reports. The analytics identifier is random and limited to the current browser tab session. We do not store IP addresses in our analytics store, use analytics to identify an anonymous visitor, or combine anonymous browsing records with inquiry contact details. Analytics events are retained for up to 90 days. Our use of cookies and similar technologies is described in the Cookie Policy. Meta separately processes information about activity on its services under the Meta Privacy Policy.

15. Policy changes

We may update this policy when our services, advertising activities, providers or legal requirements change. The current version and update date will always be published on this page.
